INTRODUCTION

Assalamualaikum and hello everyone!!! Welcome to my new awesome blog. Salam UITM dihatiku! Salam Khazanah Alam! As always, let me introduce myself. My name is Rasha Alieya Binti Mustafa Dinul Hafiz I am from Pahang. I studied in Pre-Diploma Agrotechnology (AT001) at UITM Pahang Kampus Jengka. By the way, this is a blog about UED102 Study Skills that all new UITM's student will learn during their interim week. Hope that everyone will get a lot of information from my blog and I hope you like it !

HOW TO TAKE LECTURE NOTES

1. Prepares before taking lecture notes

📌Build up some background of the topic

📌Have some idea what the lecture is about

📌Identify main ideas of the lecture and organize your notes easier

📌Be familiar with the key terms and names related to the topic

2. Become an active listener 

Strategies for improving listening skills :-

📌Read the text assignment before the lecture

📌Review the last set of notes before the lectures begin

📌Sit's in the lecturer's line of vision

📌Decide what you want  to listen 

📌Ask and answer questions

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN YOUR NOTES

Headings - Always note all headings-the main point-that are made during a lecture.

Details - Focus on : Any facts or explanations, definitions and word.

Discussion Classes - Some lecturers prefer the discussion format when teaching.

Math and Science Classes - Listen carefully to main points and the important details and put them in your notes.

Powerpoint Presentations - Use headings and subheadings in Powerpoint presentations to organize notes. 

Online Lecture Notes - Some lecturers choose to post their lecture notes on the course websites.
