MODULE 1 : GETTING READY TO LEARN

 

INTRODUCTION 

My name is RASHA ALIEYA BINTI MUSTAFA DINUL HAFIZ . I am a student who currently study at UITM PAHANG , CAMPUS JENGKA . Now I am just a student in Pre-Diploma in plantation and agrotechnology. One of the most important purposes for me to create this portfolio is to introduce students to Ued 102 or known soft skills. Ued 102 provides students with the study skills that are essential for university life, which every student should be within each other .

Making the transition (from school to university) is not easy as you move from kindergarten to primary school. We as a student need to prepare ourselves physically,mentally,spiritually and emotionally before entering university life.There are so many differences between high school students and university students.For example:

LEARNING STYLE:

Every students have different way to study. For example, some students love to study in a quiet place with minimal environmental distractions and some students love to study while listening to their favourite music. This is very crucial for you to know your own learning style either you are a auditory, visual or kinesthetic person. You could ask about it to the counselor or take some online quizzes to show what type of learning style that you used. Here are some of the differences between an auditory, a visual and a kinesthetic learning style.
